A temple's live stream shows "offline" or won't load.

Live darshan depends on the temple's own YouTube channel being live at that moment — many temples only stream during specific aarti times. If a channel appears permanently offline, let us know which temple and we'll check the source.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Location is entirely optional. If granted, it's used only to sort "Nearby" temples and to calculate an accurate Panchang (sunrise/sunset/Tithi) for your city. You can deny it and still use every other feature.

Videos won't play / show a "Watch on YouTube" button instead.

Some temple channels disable embedded playback outside YouTube. When that happens, we show a fallback button that opens the video directly in the YouTube app — this is a restriction set by the video owner, not a bug.

How do I stop notifications?

Go to Profile → Notification settings inside the app, or disable notifications for the app in your device Settings.

Is my data safe?

The app has no accounts and no login. Your preferences (favourites, theme, streaks) stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
